Our Youth Ministry seeks to create a friendly, open environment where students have a safe place to grow spiritually as they enjoy connecting with leaders and other students. Empowered by the Holy Spirit as believers, we seek spiritual growth and transformation through evangelism and discipleship. We believe this will happen through intentional times of worship, prayer, service, and fellowship.

Pastor of Youth Ministry
Avery Mendheim
Avery is a hometown boy, who lived in Folsom Louisiana his whole life. In 2019 he graduated from Covington High School. He is about to start his last semester at LSU where he will end with a degree in business management with a concentration in strategic leadership. In between school and getting married to Lydia Grace Stegall, Avery enjoys participating in outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing. His favorite bible verse is Mark 1:17-18, And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” Immediately they dropped their nets and followed him.
